My story

I’m Jen Blandos, an entrepreneur of seven-figure businesses for over 18 years, and more than 25 years of international work experience under my belt. Originally from Canada, my work has taken me around the globe. When I arrived in London in 2002, with a Degree in Politics, no one wanted to hire a girl with a Canadian accent with no London experience, so my first business was born…

Initially, this was simply a way to freelance until ‘something better’ came along, but using my experience with governmental departments across the EU, and the Middle East, and leading on training, development and public relations, one year in, I had a number of staff, office space in central London, and clients all over the world. Within two years, and expanding to work with the UN, banks, airlines, energy and manufacturing, we were growing and hitting seven-figures in revenue.

How I got here

I like to think of myself as an accidental entrepreneur, that Canadian in London never expected to have a global business. No one showed me what to do, I learned from experience, sometimes getting it right and other times spectacularly wrong.

I’ve had my personal challenges during my two decades in business too - including battling breast cancer, struggling to maintain good health with two auto-immune diseases, divorcing the person who was also my business partner, and ultimately me walking away from the business that I created and founded in 2003.

All of these have been exceptional learning experiences that have made me the person and entrepreneur that I am today.

Why I do it

One of my greatest joys is to be able to share my entrepreneurial expertise with others. There is no easy road to a successful business – you need to have an awful lot of resilience to stay the course.

In June 2020, I joined Kellie Whitehead and became the Managing Partner and co-owner of Female Fusion, one of the UAE’s largest and most active groups for female entrepreneurs.

I love to help and support other entrepreneurs and business owners in their business journey – I look forward to being able to support you!
